The Holiday Mini Catalog is Here!

Today's the first day you can order from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  Wahoooooh!  Every time a new catalog comes out I get excited.  This catalog was even more exciting because

we got a copy of it and some items from it at the Convention!!!

This is one of my favorite things ...

Just to mention a few items used here, exclusive to the Holiday Mini Catalog, Bigz L Die - Holiday Stocking (pg 24), Frostwood Lodge DSP (pg 28), Stitched Felt Winter Wishes (pg 30) and check out the Mini Jingle Bells (pg 30) ...I love those!   I also used a white gel pen and the Stripes Embossing folder to get the stitched look and stripes on the stocking.  Here's another one ...

Here's another one using the same DSP and Stitched Felt (wreath), but here I embossed the pieces with the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.   I always think they look like Pointsettias and are so appropriate with any Christmas project.  Notice that tiny candy cane ... I made it.   Take a piece of the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine (pg 194 of the big catalog), add some Crystal Effects (pg 206) to it (between your fingers), and shape it into a candy cane on a piece of wax paper.  Let it dry over night, and walaaaaahhh, you have a mini candy canes!

Okay, so this one looks a little stubby ... it is.  I took a half sheet of Cherry Cobbler cardstock, folded in half (like I was making a regular card) and put the fold end UP on the stocking die (just under the top cut line) to make this shorter stocking which is now a card that opens and fits in a standard envelope.  The berries and berry leaves were cut from yet another new Originals Die (Stocking Accents) - pg 24.  I used some paper from Paper Stacks - Garden Green from the Brights Collection - pg 186 of big catalog.  The new Espresso 3/8" Quilted Satin Ribbon (pg 30 Mini) and the new Dazzling Details (iridescent glitter glue - pg 41 Mini) add the frosted look.  And there are those mini jingle bells again!!!  Just love them!
