Envelope Maker is Here!

At convention they teased us with the coolest new item...

The envelope maker.  It's only $19.95 and easily makes over 300 different size envelopes.  It also has a built-in corner rounder.  They dazzeled us with it and then told us we couldn't order til mid August.  As soon as we got the word that we could order it,  I put my order in.  It came last night.  I LOVE IT!

Non-demonstrators can order effective September 1st.  Being a demonstrator has so many perks.  Contact me for more information.  I'd love to have you on our team!

What a beautiful birthday

A big thank you to all who sent me fabulous cards and facebook postings.  Thought I would share the homemade cards and two of my favorite photos of my five grandkids at the zoo in Columbia, SC.  What a fabulous interactive zoo.  We all loved it.

Here's some recognition in order of the cards:  Dorinda, Linda Sue, Sheila, Mary Jo, Pat, Jane, Mary Jane, Louise, Lorena and Donna.  Thank you all again.

Tag It -- Ronald McDonald House Charities

Last convention update ... you'll want to see this one!

Undefined ... Make your Own Stamp!

After a long day, I made it home safely.  Would have made it home a little sooner had I remembered where I parked my car.   I'd like to blame it on a "blonde" moment ... but I actually entered the lot number in my cell phone ... just hit the wrong lot number key and didn't have my glasses on when I did it.   So we ended up in the wrong long-term lot ...  Well, if that's the worst thing which happened today (which it was) then it was a great day!

Told you briefly about the new product introduced this past week at convention ... "Undefined".   You can carve your own stamps!   Seriously!  Check out the video ... it says it all!

Convention Ends tonight

So much to share and so little time.  Had a fabulous week with stampin buds, Sherahl, Susan and Alvie (and roommate Ann who couldn't hang for late night photo).

Last night after awards we had quite a party to celebrate 25th anniversary with girls doing acrobats off sheets from the ceiling, break dancers, a great band, more goodies, etc.  It was quite a night.

Stampin' Up truly out did themselves with all attendees receiving a random drawing prize (aka Prize Patrol).  The last group of 25 drawn got all the stamp sets in the holiday mini!  That's a big Wahoooooo!   Would have been a bigger Wahoooooo had I won that!

While I hate for it to be over, I am so excited to get home and start recreating a few of the hundreds of ideas.  They introduced some really cool new items.  I love the new pop out card framelits, the envelope maker and the Undefined...a system where you can carve your own stamps.  For real!  This is what I won.  And we all got a piece to make our own stamp.  I made a grammie stamp with a heart.  Fun, fun, fun!

Pictured below are two photos of the pop out cards.  There's also a photo of a partial wall of cards.  There were dozen of these wall of cards to give us ideas including framed samples.  The mason jar is how they kept our scissors and other tools in the make and take area.  Unbelievable details!

My favorite place was the recognition room which was new this year.  If you earned a major award, you could go in and chill during all the hub bub of the convention, eat snacks and drink sodas, and meet many, many of the super stampers.  I took advantage every minute I could get and am bursting with ideas to improve my service to my customers.  Look for some changes coming soon!

The last photo shows a distant shot of one of the many walls of cards.  I just noticed last night that each group of walls spelled out various words.  Comment if you see the word.  I can honestly say that I was truly inspired by the entire week.

What a GREAT week.  Be home soon!  Thank you Shelli and Stampin' Up!

You can join me next year.  Just contact me at bzstampin@live.com.  I'd love to have you join my team and experience next year's convention, too.

Convention starts Tonight

Got to take a trip to Riverton and the Stampin' Up! Facility.  Always impressive!  Lines everywhere for this, the 25th anniversary convention!  I got to write on the "wall".  You should be able to recognize what I wrote in the photos below.  Enjoy some more cards, too.  Lots of swapping going on!

Tour of Salt Lake City

We arrived last night after a beautiful first class flight through Phoenix.  Arrived at hotel just in time to grab a quick bite to eat and go to Sherrie's shoebox swap.  Here is where you cut out 48 cards, assemble half of them and bring the other half for the girls to assemble as a group.  What a fun night.  You will see three of our favorite picks at the end.

Today we took a city tour and got to learn so much of the history of Salt Lake City.  In the 1800's over 80,000 Mormons left Navoo, Illinois to find a safe place.  Three and one half months later and 1,300 miles later Bringham Young  found SLC.  Only 70,000 made it.  We visited the park called This is the Place where he said just that.  Also saw olympic village and stadium, the state house and had lunch at Bringham Young's home.  Learned a lot...now only if I can remember most of it.  Oh, also got to see the huge organ at the Mormon tabernacle church and hear a half hour rehearsal.  Awesome!

Enough talk...here are some of the photos.  Enjoy!

Best of 25 Years - July

Wow, where does time fly ... it's been a while, my apologies.   The good news is that my daughter and family are safely moved down from PA and all is good.   They are getting settled in nicely to their new home and getting used to their new jobs.

Tomorrow I leave for convention for a few days ... a big WAHOOOOOOO!   I've been practicing.
I've also been very busy making swaps so I can have plenty of new ideas when I get home!

This month's Best of 25 Years stamp set was chosen by Shelli, the founder of Stampin' Up!
