I recently participated in a Santa card swap. Our fearless leader, Cindy, gave all participants of Sun City's Cardmaking/Scrapbook Club a rather large stamped image of Santa Clause and we were all asked to make a card for the swap.
Here is my finished card. I made it a Gate Fold Card (used a normal 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Garden Green cardstock and scored it at 2 1/8" on both ends of the long side to form the gate fold). Gotta love the new Simply Scored Scoring Tool (pg 7 of Holiday Mini). This gives you 1/8" increments.

The technique here to make his beard, eyebrows and mustache shimmer and pop was done as follows:
Generously apply Tomboy glue in a swirling pattern over the large beard area. I also applied it on the fur on his hat and eyebrows. Then, while still wet, applied our dazzling diamonds glitter. Again, while still wet, I used the Heat Tool (pg 201) until the glue starts to bubble. Let dry completely, and wahlaah ...
