Fan Fair

Mens cards are always the hardest to make for me.   I'd just rather use ribbons, lace, flowers, etc.   Yesterday and today I'm holding a Men's stamp a stack.   Here are some cards I made for this event...

I had purchased a package of Fan Fair DSP (pg 165).  I hadn't opened it until I was trying to come up with some manly ideas.   This paper is perfect for this.  The following cards were all cut the same.  I just coordinated each paper with a sentiment to match.   I loved these cards.  What do you think?

Sentiment from Delightful Dozen (pg. 140)

The above three sentiments are from Word Play (pg. 135)

Ironically, the reverse side of many of these pieces are rather feminine.  This is a great set of paper suitable for many, many occasions!

I used my favorite technique (sponging) with Mustard Ink.  The faux buttons were cut out of scraps of Island Indigo card stock using our Sweet Buttons Embosslits (pg 188).

Sale-A-Bration starts 1/22/13.  Get ready!   It's my favorite time of the year!
