Framelits used as Embossing Tools

Here's a quick tutorial on how to use your Framelits as Embossing Tools ...

Here's a finished card using the Oval Framelits ...

Here's a close up shot of the embossing.

To do this, you will need your Big Shot with the platform closed completely (Tab 2) then layer on top a piece of chipboard, a piece of cardboard from a pack of DSP paper (I cut both of these 6" x 6"), our silicone pad (pg 36 Mini Catalog), a piece of card stock which you want to emboss, your framelits (CUT SIDES UP --very important) and a Cutting Plate.   See Below...

Run it through your big shot and walaaaaaah ....

Here's a card made with the Floral Framelits (pg 191).

And here's a bad close up photo of the above ...

So now you know how to more than just cut with your framelits .... I love this technique.   Just be sure you have your cutting feet UP (against the cutting plate ... not against the card stock) or you will ruin your silicone pad!!!

Happy Embossing!
