Chalkboard Technique

A lot of hype lately about the chalkboard technique.   Here's a quick tutorial for you.

Start by placing related stamps onto a large clear block.
Ink your stamps with VersaMark Ink and stamp onto a piece of black card stock which has been rubbed with our embossing buddy.

Here I used Pool Party and White Embossing Powders.  First I coated the balloon with pool party embossing powder.
Then I coated the remaining stamped images with white embossing powder.

Here's the card piece after it was heat embossed

Now here's where the fun begins ... and what makes it look like a chalkboard!

Using your White Craft Ink pad and a tissue, lightly rub some craft ink over the embossed card stock.

Keep rubbing until you have your desired effect.

Have fun!!!
