This is called a Tea Light card. If you can hand-deliver this card to someone, also give them a battery operated tea light to go with it. They will most likely display it for years to come!
It really shows off beautifully at night! Here's a back view.
I used Midnight muse cardstock. Cut two sheets. One is 4 1/4" x 11 " and scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". The second piece was cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I fan folded the scored lines and attached the smaller piece on top. Then, using the second largest Window Frames Collection framelet, I cut out the two attached pieces together. The framelit dies do cut two pieces of card stock together. I slipped a 4x4" piece of vellum cardstock (which was stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed with pewter embossing powder using the Forever Young Stamp -- pg. 116). I also stamped "Remember When" at the bottom and embossed that with pewter embossing powder, as well. This stamp is part of the Word Play stamp set (pg. 135). Love it!!!
After attaching a Midnight Muse bow with a glue dot, and a Vintage Faceted Designer Button (pg 176) with another glue dot, the card was ready to give to some lucky recipient!
Remember, only a few days left to order out of the current Holiday Mini Catalog. This one expires midnight, January 2nd, 2013. Check it out on the right of this blog. Order anything you may still want by clicking here.
