Snow Flurry

Oh, is it a little early for snow when it's 80 degrees outside ... Well here's a sample of the card I made for Kim's Team Event this past Saturday...

Using our silver Glimmer Paper (pg 160) and the new Snow Flurry Bigz Die from our Holiday Mini catalog, cut out a total of five pieces (1 large, 2 medium and 2 small).   Take a small, medium and large piece and sponge with Cherry Cobbler ink using a sponge dauber (pg 179).  Take the remaining two pieces (medium and small) and sponge with old olive.  Now alternatively layer the pieces starting with the large and working up to the small pieces.   I attached a few dimensionals and one on the back so this could be removed for a tree ornament.

Also used were white bakers twine, a large pearl, a 1/2" circle punch and Sassy Salutations (pg 143).  Certainly celery cardstock was the base.  The red background is the new Cherry Cobbler Core'd nations cardstock from our Holiday Mini which was run through the big shot with our new Lacy Embossing folder then sanded with our new sanding block ... all from the Holiday mini catalog.

Many people did not know you can sponge the glimmer papers to come up with a variety of colors.  The Silver Glimmer paper works best.   Have fun and see what you can come up with.
