Spring Retreat Classes

Okay, if you're signed up for our Spring Stampin' Retreat in Asheville, NC March 10-15, 2015, then it's time to choose your classes.  With the spring retreat coming so close behind the fall retreat, time is limited.   The teachers have worked hard to create their classes and make their samples.   Now it's your time to QUICKLY choose your classes so the instructors can order their products and start prepping their classes.    So, please, email me today with your choices (bzstampin@live.com)  Deadline to order classes is Friday, February 6th.

Oh, you haven't signed up for Spring Retreat ... then you need to call me today ... 717-443-4224 ... or email me at bzstampin@live.com for all the information.   But, you must hurry!  The same deadline above applies for sign up for retreat, too.  


Here are your class offerings.   Just indicate to me in an email which class numbers you would like.   You will pay for the classes at retreat.   No payment is required now.  Thanks!

Class #1 -- In”crease” Your Fun  -- Alvie Dielman -- Cost $10

In this class we’ll be making four items using different creasing a/k/a folding styles/designs – some with a little extra folding fun!  And…….you know how we all have that hoard (oops I mean stash – LOL) of DSP that we’re not sure what to do with it, well, we’ll be using DSP for all four projects.  Most project pieces will be pre-cut and scored.  You will receive written instructions for each item.

 
We’ll be using the following new items, in addition to a number of items in the Annual Catalog:  2015 Occasions Catalog:  Crazy About You and Guy Greetings stamp sets, Bow Builder Punch, Flower Medallion Punch.   2015 Sale-a-Bration Catalog:  Big Day and You Brighten My Day stamp sets, Best Year Ever DSP. 

 Items you need to bring to class:  Scissors, Bone Folder, Sticky Strip and your choice of double sided tape/snail/etc.

Class #2 -- Gelli Roll Fun!  -- Neily Trump -- Cost $15 

 

What's all the buzz about mono-printing? Gelli plates?   Come find out. And dress for a mess!   We'll make several prints; then use one or more to decorate the cover of a mini Art Journal or Diary. 

Materials supplied: a Gelli plate, acrylic paint, ink, mini journal/diary.   Participants should bring (if possible): a brayer, a heat tool, a kraft mat.

Class #3 -- Spring Flowers -- Bonnie Henderson -- Cost $10  

Did you see the cover of the new Occasions Catalog?   Are you ready for some spring flowers?   If so, you won't want to miss this class.   You will make one of each of the five flowers shown on the cover.   In addition, you will learn various ways to make flowers without having to purchase the kit using the Bouquet Bigz L Die (pg 30) -- which will be at retreat.  They're addictive to make ... and fun. I've worked through the bugs and will share all the tricks with you along with a few other ideas, too!

Materials needed:  Glue gun, glue sticks and Bone folder.  (If you sign up for the class, please bring your glue gun with you to retreat.   Otherwise, there will be a lot of waiting to use my one gun.  Thanks)

 

 

 

 

Class #4 --  Cards for All Reasons!  --  PJ Cards - The Tennessee Connection!  -- $12

In this class you’ll make 6 cards (plus a card holder) to fit
 any occasion featuring Sheltering
Tree (a favorite new stamp set in the current Occasions Catalog) and the Four You Stamp Set.
