Retreat is Here!

Busy, busy, busy getting packed, unpacked, set up and now the fun begins.  Here are some photos of what's happening at retreat ...

The tables are covered with paper ... we do make a mess!

The contest boards are set up.  On these boards the gals can post a really nice card they came up with.  At the end of retreat, all the cards will be judged and prizes will be awarded.

We also do a sketch contest.   Each girl gets a blank sketch of a card.   They create a card following the sketch.   Prizes will be awarded for these, too.

Here's the calm before the storm ... stop back in a day or two and see retreat in full swing!

Every day they get to make a free card or project.  Today it's a "rain" card with real rain.  Here Ann and Alvie are busy making their make and take card for the day ... see below ...

And here's the card for the day.  See the real rain on the window sheet.  This is done by applying crystal effects to the window sheet and dragging it slightly upwards,  Let it dry, and you have rain!

It's hard to see but we also used the cloud embossing folder.
