I Have a New Helper!

Yes, it's official ... if you are wondering where I've been ... well I've been training my new helper ... and she needs a lot of help ...

Our little grand daughter,  Ryka (4),  is here for the week while her Mommy and Daddy are in Cancun celebrating their anniversary.  I think I've got her hooked!!  It's amazing how she can stay so focused ... for hours!   We may not be blood ... but we sure have a bond!

Here we are in our jammies.  We were actually up early stamping ... I know it's hard to believe ... me up early ... She loves my favorite room, too!

Okay now to the card of the day.  Trust me when I say it's tough to get any work done ... now you may understand why ... but work can wait ... she's priceless!!!

Tea Shoppe-tea cup- (pg 57), Circle Circus-tea bag tag- (pg 99)  and Hello, Doily-white embossed lace doily- (pg 110) are today's featured stamp sets.  The cardstock used is Cherry Cobbler, Vanilla and Crumb Cake.

The teacup was stamped onto vanilla card stock with VersaMark ink and then embossed with cherry cobbler embossing powder.  It was carefully cut out and attached to the pre-embossed doily with dimensionals.  Cherry cobbler bakers twine was attached to the rear of the tea cup and tag.

The faux frame was made by punching out a cherry cobbler label using the curly label punch (pg 182), cutting it in half horizontally and attaching it to the back of the verbiage piece stamped with cherry cobbler ink onto crumb cake card stock.

EXCITING NEWS:   I announced today at Diva that I will be holding my new KISS course which has been my card-making focus for the last two weeks.  The class dates are:

Tuesday, November 27 @ 1 and 6 p.m.
Wednesday, November 28 @ 1 p.m.

Save one of these Times!!!

I promise more info will follow ... just need some time to take photos.  This is a system where you have a box or bag of pre-cut pieces to make numerous, awesome cards ... quick and easy yet very, very nice!  Once you start making KISS cards, you will find it hard to want to make any others!  Not only are they quick and awesome, the system allows for very little waste.  No more boxes and boxes of scraps.  Each card style can be applied to what you have to use. Take your scraps, cut into one of two different sized pieces, and make a card ... It's fun ...

KEEPING IT SURPRISINGLY SIMPLE!!!
