Everyday Elegance Simply Sent Cards

Okay, these have been in the catalog since the catalog was brought out last July (pg. 193).  But if you were like me and didn't get excited about them when you first saw them, well now's the time for you to try them for free ...

If you look at the Sale-A-Bration catalog on page 12, here they are again ... but this time they are FREE (with a $50 product order through March 31st).  These beauties are intricately die-cut and have a white writing surface inside.  They come with matching stickers for you to add whatever sentiment you wish.  Here I used Petite Pairs (pg 164) and stamped the coordinating greeting inside the card.

I needed a few quick cards.  That's when I pulled out my free set to play with.   I stamped the saying on the sticker (on the right side), attached the sticker and then took one of my newest favorite things ... Blossom Builders (pg. 18 of the Occasions Mini Catalog).  We got to play with these in January at Leadership in San Antonio.  I have to confess, they did nothing for me in the catalog!  But when I got to play with them in San Antonio and saw the many, many uses for them, I was hooked.  These two cards took me less than 10 minutes to make both!!!   Can't get much easier than that.   The pre-stamped, die cut blossoms quickly pop out of the sheet and attach with a glue dot.  For a little more umph, I added one of new Jewels (large pearls) - pg. 26 of the Occasions Mini catalog.

One of the many benefits of Stampin' Up! is they are dedicated to teaching us demonstrators to share with you our many, many beautiful, coordinated products.  This may seem like a sales pitch; and if so I apologize.  This is why I fell in love with their products about 10 years ago and have been using them ever since.   Have you ever gone to a craft store, bought a product and never used it because you couldn't figure out what to do with it?  Stampin' Up! encourages us to get friends together and share what we love.   Give hands-on training with our products.  I do this monthly with my awesome Divas ... 32 strong right now and growing ... This month at Diva Club they will be using and making their own envelope using the diagonal scoring plate, they will be using the Simply Sent cards (above) and making a fun book mark with our Blossom Builders and more surprises.  If you'd like to join in on the fun, be sure to contact me.   We'd love to have you!

Oh, if you aren't sold on Blossom Builders yet, here's a scrapbook page we made at Leadership.  Since I'm not a scrapbooker but loved the finished page, I simply framed it with a shadowbox frame from Ikea and here's the finished product.

I brought the page home "blank" and added our first professional photo of our little granddaughter (age 3 1/2).  Her name is Ryka!   Of course she makes the project PERFECT!   If you'd like a class on this, let me know.  I'm always looking for great class ideas!  By the way, this whole page took less than 30 minutes to finish!!!   Gotta love Blossom Builders .... and of course, Ryka, my model!!!
