2014 Fall Stamping Retreat Class Options

 

Wahoooo, Retreat is only about two months away and the teachers have been very, very busy getting their classes together and getting their class descriptions and photos to me so that you retreat attendees can choose your classes ... Wait until you see your choices ...
So without further ado, here are this fall's class offerings ...

Merry Winter Giving - $10 - Alvie Dielman - 

For this class you will make four (4) projects using the Wintertime Stamp and the Cheerful Tags & Merry Everything stamp sets with the coordinating Note Tag Punch.  You’ll also use the new Real Red Woven Satin Ribbon & Lost Lagoon Silky Taffeta Ribbon, the new Nordic Noel DSP & new All is Calm DSP.

·         Merry Christmas Apothecary Pocket Card

·         Merry Cocoa Treat and Gift Card/Money Holder has a back pocket for cocoa packet and a candy cane (both included) and a front pocket for gift card or cash and/or a sweet treat.

·         Merry Everything Box is the perfect size for a necklace or bracelet or candy treats like Hershey Nuggets or Ghiradelli Chocolates.

·         Holiday Cheer Holder is a Card along with being a two pocket holder for items like gift cards, cash, candy, etc.

Most pieces will be pre-cut and pre-scored.  Written instructions for all projects will be included.  I'll also show how to easily convert the pocket card into a gift card holder.

Supplies you need to bring to class:  Tombow Glue or glue of your choice (2-way Glue Pen is not sticky enough), Double sided tape, Snail or other adhesive of choice, Scissors/Snips, Bone Folder

 

 

Recycle those Paint Samples -- Judie Fiegel - $10

We will use paint samples from Lowes, Home Depot, and Sherwin Williams as backgrounds for cards. You will make 3 cards  with a choice of color on one card. Class also includes a listing of almost 100 paint samples matched up to Stampin Up Colors.
 

 

 

 

All Things Burlap - $14 - Frances Brown

 

Do you love burlap like I do?  You will be amazed at all the ways we will use burlap in this class. Several techniques on how to use burlap without fraying, how to die cut it into shapes, and even how to cut it straight on the grid. You will also learn how to stencil, stamp, and glitter burlap! Lots of techniques and tips!

We will make one adorable Christmas project suitable for gift giving, 3 tags and 3 rustic-contemporary cards. If that weren't enough...you will also get to see several projects that will  be demonstrated in the class only to class participants.   You will be able to see them up close and personal and take pictures if you like. Very cool stuff!

Card/Tag Gift Set - $15 - Sheri Bradley

A great Christmas set of 6 tags (3 different designs) and 4 cards (2 different designs) all in a handmade gift box with see through cover. Three super colors of Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, and Early Espresso are featured from the Specialty DSP Under The Tree. I used this DSP to assemble the box and tags. Four cards are made from the SU stamp set Cheerful Christmas. They are all wrapped up in the new Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon. This set would make a great gift or keep for yourself!

 

 

Festival of Trees!   Fee - $12 - Peggy Taylor

Connecting with family and friends is always a special part of the Holiday. In this class we’ll be featuring the new Stampin’ Up Holiday stamp set, Festival of Trees, and the coordinating Tree Punch to create 4 clean and simple cards. Throw in a new technique or two, a card packaging idea, several tags and you’ll be on your way to making that handcrafted Holiday connection.  (Note, this is a partial photo of the finished class, just to give you a sneak preview.)
