Retreat Classes - March 20-23, 2014

Less than two months to our Stampin' Retreat near Asheville, NC.   If you need a get-a-way to get caught up on your scrapbooking or to make cards for the year, this is your chance.   Please contact me at bzstampin@live.com and I will send you all the details.   This year you can come as early as Tuesday night, and we don't have to be out of the room until 3 p.m. on Sunday ... wahoooooo!  You choose how long you want to have fun ... all the way up to 5 nights away or as little as 2 nights if your time is limited.   Call me if you'd like to discuss ... 717-443-4224.

Class #1:  Spring is Popping Up     Instructor:  Alvie Dielman     Cost:   $10

In this class we’ll be making four pop-up cards using four different techniques.  Most Pieces will be pre-cut and scored.  You will receive written instructions for each card.

Items we’ll be using:
2014 Occasions Catalog:  Another Great Year, Springtime Hello, Perfect Pennants and Hardwood stamp sets, Arrows Textured Embossing Folder and Gold Bakers Twine.

2014 Sale-a-Bration Catalog:  Sweet Sorbet DSP.  

‘13 – ’14 Annual Catalog:  Timeless Talk, Gorgeous Grunge & Simply Sketched (Hostess) stamp sets, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, 1” Circle Punch, ¾” Circle Punch, Peekaboo Frames Bigz L Die, Designer Rosette Bigz XL Die, Essentials Paper Piercing pack & Paper Piercing Tool, Birthday Basics DSP, Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin Ribbon, Basic Pearls and Basic Rhinestones.

Class #2:  Watercolor Wonder Card Collection   Instructors: June Welch and Peggy Taylor   Cost:  $15

Love the new Watercolor Wonder Designer
 Note Cards in the SU Occasions Catalog? 
Make a set of 10 all-occasion cards plus a
box for keeping or giving.  We’ll be using
 the Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards,
Watercolor Wonder DSP, Petite Petals
Stamps Set, and various sentiments. 
You’ll also make a small coordinating
 gift box using the envelope punch board
 and Watercolor Wonder DSP.  Directions
will be included.

Class #3:  Spring Sorbet    Instructor:  Frances Brown      Cost:  $12

Beautiful spring-themed cards in sorbet colors.  Pretty enough to eat but with no calories!  These are easily reproducible cards for all occasions.  They are packaged in a cute see through gift bag with a tubular handle.  Ready for gift giving or keep them for yourself.  Would make a great Mother’s Day or birthday gift.  4 cards with envelopes complete with decorated gift bag.  Extra bags available for purchase.

Class #4:  Library Cards!      Instructor:  Frances Brown    Cost:  $8

These are not your mother’s Library
cards!   These are all occasion cards
that are cute, cute, cute!  They resemble
 actual library cards which makes them
so unique!

The sentiment is on the front of each with a pull out card to reveal the art!
All in brightly  colored polka-dots.  You will love these cards!  3 cards and envelopes with office-style folder.

Class #5:  Retreat Memories 2014         Instructor:  Sherahl Weadon    Cost:  $20
 
I’ve made so many memories while attending
Bonnie’s retreat for the past two years that I
thought it would be nice to have a notebook
to keep this year’s memories in. Wouldn’t you
like to have a place to record all those phone
numbers or email addresses of old and new
friends, as well as a place to note new
techniques that you may learn, or to store
instructions from a class that you take while
attending retreat? So I decided to create the
Retreat 2014 notebook complete with a pen
to record everything and a souvenir bookmark.
The notebook will contain pockets and places
to store anything and everything you may
collect from Retreat along with a four page
spread of scrapbook pages to highlight photos
taken with your friends from retreat. Because of
course you want to be able to record those trips
to local restaurants or JoAnn’s Store for a craft
 run. It is the perfect memory book for you to be able to look back and remember what a great time you had and would be something to share with your stamping friends.

Cost of class includes a packet of Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper.
