More Retreat Card Photos and Divas

My divas are arriving this week for Diva Club and have been asking me why the Diva group photo from retreat was not posted.... well it goes ... along with some more fun card ideas from retreat.

Here they are (minus one, Sheri baby, who had to leave early to go to work :-( ...

Thanks to all my great divas who attended my first retreat.   Hope you'll all come back in the fall along with more divas ... It's a great "gals'" weekend!  (Nov. 8-11, 2012)

I'm back ...

okay, I confess ... the retreat took a lot out of me ... and catch up is always a challenge ... but was it worth it .... YES!!!!   What a fun, fun four days in the beautiful mountains just outside Asheville, NC.

Back to Reality Ranch ... preparing for Techniques class this Thursday.  We will have a class at 10:00 a.m. at the Sun City Lakehouse.  Then for those of you who work, we will have a 6 p.m. class at my home.  If you haven't signed up, please contact me now.

Retreat - Day #4

Sad, sad day ... we have to go back to reality ranch today ... No more stamping morning, noon, and night.  No more beds being made for us ... No more three daily meals, all prepared and cleaned up for us ... No more ideas, ideas, ideas ... back to Reality Ranch ... meals to cook, beds to make, dust bunnies staring us in the face ....

As mentioned previously, when the stamps are awesome, you don't need a lot of extras.

Add a few punched flowers to our Hat Pins (pg 18 Occasions Mini), and you've got a masterpiece! 

Now talk about simple ... this takes the prize ... and what a great card.  I used the scoring tool and scored a simple line around the edges of the stamped whisper white piece.  This simply ties in with the simple  card.

Well, if you're not sold on Rue Des Fluers yet, there may be more.  As mentioned in my first blog on this stamp set, I love it.  And, there are a few more images that may show up again.
